Open Channel Program

The Open Channel tool by Rischio is software designed to solve uniform flow in open channels with various geometries using Manning’s equation. The program allows you to analyze custom sections and calculate key hydraulic parameters, including:

  • Flow velocity
  • Hydraulic area and wetted perimeter
  • Hydraulic radius
  • Calibration curve between flow rate and depth
